What I have up for bids here is a good used and Mercury lower unit/gearcase assembly with hydrofoils, just pulled from a 1974 20hp Merc outboard that we are parting out and fitting a many of the 1970s 20hp Mercury models running this style gearcase. This lower unit would be perfect for the guy who fixing up a vintage Mercury and looking for a period or model correct parts or for the guy who needs this assembly to get that older outboard back on the water. For the opening bid of $49.99 you cant go wrong. This assembly is pricey thru Mercury so save big on our great price.. Now here's what you will get,

OEM Mercury gearcase -lower unit assembly, Merc part #1627-4404A12/1627-4404A6. Driveshaft measures 19 1/4" from the tip of the driveshaft down to the mounting surface. Driveshaft is a 6 spline model.. ...

Now as noted, this lower unit was pulled from a 1972 Mercury 20hp,, but this style lower unit is correct for the 1973-1977 20hp model but I believe it will fit other models from this era, but please check your parts manual or old lower unit for more fits and applications or email us...

If you have been looking for a good used gearcase assembly for that older 20hp Merc, I think you will find this assembly to be a great buy and find. Please email me if you have any questions and buyer to pay actual UPS shipping in the US with no handling or hidden fees. Good luck and thank you. ?

You’ve seen the concept, you’ve heard the new V8 engine howl on this website, but today (April 7) CAR Online brings you eight pictures of the flagship 3-series coupe. The big news with the fourth-generation M3 is the switch to a 4.0-litre V8 engine, which produces some 80bhp more than the outgoing 3.2-litre six.

Peugeot 207 CC GT THP 156 Review & Road Test (2010) Part 2

Thu, 19 Aug 2010

Part 2 of our review of the Peugeot 207 CC The top’s down on the first drive, and close to home are some of my favourite twisty roads; roads I know well and for which I have a myriad of different benchmarks for test cars’ performance lodged in what passes for a brain. Sadly, my expectations and preconceptions were pretty much evidenced in the first corner, as the 207 CC turned in quite well but accompanied by some less than pleasant flexing which I expected to get worse as I pushed on. But it didn’t.
