-I have for sale a 4 bolt main L82/LT1 short block that was removed from a 1973 Corvette. This block is standard bore and retains its complete original rotating assembly including its original TRW forged pistons(GM part number 3991468). It is extremely clean and appears to have never been apart. All eight cylinder walls show very little wear and no noticeable ridge. This short block is exactly the same as a 1971 and 1972 LT1. They have the same crank, pistons, and main caps. The original engine stamping is shown in my pics and decodes as a 1973 L82 Corvette engine. It is my opinion that this short block could be used as is or you could give it a light hone and ring job to be extra safe. Serious buyers can call Andrew at 636 459 0818 with any questions.
