Volvo S60 Concept shows its face
Tue, 16 Dec 2008[ad#ad-1] A few weeks ago, we brought you some teaser images of the upcoming Volvo S60, and we speculated that it would look just like every other Volvo when it arrived. Well, it’s only the concept, but it looks like I might have to eat my shoes – it looks very good, and very un-Volvo like. 2013 Subaru Forester: Price from £24,995
Mon, 25 Mar 2013The new 2013 Subaru Forester, which debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, will cost from £24,995 in the UK for the Forester 2.0D X. Those improvements for 2013 include new bumpers and a bigger crease down the side, some new alloys and more toys, like a new Infotainment centre and a SatNav with reversing camera. But the big news is that the new Forester gets a new engine option too, a new 2.0 litre turbo petrol good for 240PS which should make the Foresters ‘last forever’ appeal more enticing when you can have fun forever too.
80 mph speed limit: Idaho and Wyoming poised to be next
Thu, 27 Mar 2014Idaho and Wyoming could soon see 80 mph speed limits introduced to a number of highways, joining Texas and Utah as the states with some of the fastest permitted passenger car-driving speeds, KMVT-TV in Idaho is reporting. A bill in Idaho would see some sections of interstates go from 75 mph to 80 mph, and other selected highways go from 65 mph to 70 mph, which are probably speeds that drivers are doing anyway in remote and not-so-remote parts of both states. But the Idaho Transportation Department did not lend its support to the bill even though it is given the authority to implement it.
