This auction is for a 1971, 1972, 1973 Mustang Mach 1, BOSS 351, Fastback, Sportsroof, Coupe, Convertible, Sport Coupe, Mustang Sprint FASTBACK OEM ORIGINAL Ford D1ZB UPPER SEAT FRAME AND FOAM ASSEMBLY!!! This item is in very good used condition!!! THIS IS AN OEM ORIGINAL FORD PART AS ARE ALL OF MY PARTS!!! This item came out of a 53k original mile Mustang Mach 1!!! This item will work with all 1971 through 1973 Mustang Interior Seat Upholstery Options. As well as work with all 1971 through 1973 Mercury Cougar Interior Seat Upholstery Options. Note: If your picky as I am! This particular frame assembly is specifically made for the 1972-73 style Mustang and Cougar bucket seats!!! Although it can still be used in a 1971 application. It does have the side seat release square holes on each back side of the frame that a 71 only frame does not have. This frame has minor surface rust so you may want to media blast the frame and paint before recovering. The foam has a smidgen missing on lower left side as seen in picture never to be seen once recovered!!! The frame and foam assembly comes as pictured and does not include any internal seat hardware moving parts. If you need misc seat only parts? Just email and ask!!! But with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, $300,000 doesn't sound too shabby. On Saturday, the winning bidder ended up dishing out $300k for the first 2015 retail Ford Mustang GT, about 10 times the actual price.
New Jaguar XJR UK debut next week
Fri, 07 Jun 2013The New Jaguar XJR (pictured) gets its UK debut at Moto Expo 2013 Lovers of powerful XJs were delighted discover that a new Jaguar XJR, which debuted at the New York Auto Show in April, will finally give them a properly sporty XJ, rather than the somewhat compromised SuperSport version of the current XJ with the 5.0 litre Supercharged engine. Jaguar has kept faith with the history of the XJR by giving the new model a subtle ‘Sporty’ makeover with only gentle go-faster bits – like ‘R’ badges, new alloys, quad tailpipes, small boot spoiler, front splitter and a subtle body kit – so the new XJR looks purposeful, rather than looking like its been dipped in a Halfords bargain bucket. The real changes come under the skin, with the new XJR getting the 542bhp version of the 5.0 litre supercharged engine, tweaked dampers and spring rates, refined active diff and DSC and new shift patterns for the 8-speed auto box.
