MISSION STATEMENT:
At RACKSANDCHAPS, we are dedicated to offer good used motorcycle parts at a reasonable price.  All of our parts are used, unless otherwise stated, and are subject to age and use. We share your passion for vintage motorcycles. We will never misrepresent a part. We will give clear descriptions along with photos. If we offer a part it has been tested or checked for damage. With that in mind if you receive a part that does not match the description or is not what you expected, we will gladly refund your full purchase amount, and shipping fees associated with that part. If you are not happy with the part, then neither are we. We have a 100% satisfaction policy. Please contact us via email with any concerns and we will satisfy any problems that you may have on your end. Please contact us prior to leaving any negative feedback. I know that we can solve any problem that you may have.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

All shipping information is for inside the United States. We primarily use the United States Postal Service, either Priority Mail or Parcel Post for larger items. If it fits into a priority mail flat rate box, that is what we will use. This gets the part to you quickly and is reasonably priced. If the part is too large for a flat rate box, then we will ship via parcel post. If you are not familiar with parcel post, shipping times can be longer, but it is reasonably priced. All shipping prices are set by the U.S. Post Office. I do not over charge you on any shipping. On large items, if I over estimate the cost of shipping, I will refund the difference to you.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

We will happily ship our parts worldwide. Please keep in mind that overseas shipping can be very expensive. Weight and size determines price. Anything over 4 pounds gets high. If your part will fit into a flat rate box, that is how it will be shipped. This includes Canada, however, prices to Canada are lower than other countries. If you want a part shipped overseas, please contact me for a price. In addition, I cannot alter a customs form for any reason. I will not change the value of your part, please do not ask.

SHIPPING TIMES AND INSURANCE:

We will ship all of our parts within 24 hours of  cleared payment. They will be packaged well to prevent damage.  Please keep this in mind, when leaving feedback. Despite what Ebay promises, I do not control the Post Office, and when it delivers your part. Once I have left your package at the Post Office, my responsibility has been met. If the Post Office mishandles your package or damages it, that is a concern that you will have with them. Any part over $100.00, I will purchase the insurance for. If the part is less than 100.00 and you want it insured, please contact me prior to paying. Most priority mail packages are received within 3 to 4 days. Parcel post can take up to 10 days. Ebay may claim otherwise, but last I checked Ebay does not run the Post Office either.
As far as International shipping is concerned, I especially have no control over what your country does with a package. Once it leaves the United States, it is subject to your country's rules and customs policies, and can be delayed by your customs.
