Very nice factory piece. This includes the chrome grille bar that is in good condition, might be new itself. But, the grille insert has been sitting stored in this box for years and some of the argent factory paint has been rubbed off the front surround. See where my finger is pointing. Otherwise, this piece only needs a gentle cleaning in soap & water to get the dust off. Very good original part for the RIGHT side.

Local Motors Announces Alaska Motors Competition Winners

Wed, 03 Feb 2010

Startup American independent car company Local Motors has announced the winner of its Alaska Motors competition, which called for entrants to design a concept vehicle for the Wrangell Mountain Extreme, a made-up race that takes place in the grueling Alaskan frontier.   Challenged to design a conceptual vehicle for the most difficult environmental conditions, designers competed for Wacom prizes and the finalists were then chosen by the community, as they have been for the last 17 competitions. Coming in first place was recent Strate College graduate Anthony Colard for his 'B-Polar' concept, a vehicle that features a unique moving chassis with a rotating axis around its fuel tank allowing it to easily maneuver through rough terrain.

The facelifted Mazda 6, like the 5, will be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva motor show in March. The front and rear lights have been tweaked, and the 6's nose now features a huge, Insignia-aping slash of chrome across the grille.

One of the areas that always gets a boost after a storm like this is the used car market. More than 250,000 cars were damaged by the hurricane, and 50 percent of these will be resold, according to Kars4Kids, the nation's largest car-donation charity.
