1970s PINTO HUBCAPS

HERE'S SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND YET REASONABLY PRICED. THESE PINTO CAPS ARE BECOMING A RARITY AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE TRUNK IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.   KIND OF FUNNY HOW WE USED TO FIND THESE CAPS ONCE IN A WHILE AND NOW WE NEVER DO. THERE ARE 2 CAPS LISTED HERE.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  BOTH OF THESE CAPS HAVE A COUPLE OF LITTLE DINGS, BB SIZE TO THUMBPRINT.   PROBABLY REPAIRABLE OTHERS MAYBE NOT.  ONE CAP IS A BETTER THAN THE OTHER AS THE LESSER CAP HAS ANUMBER OF SCRATCHES IN A CIRCULAR PATTERN.  STILL USEABLE JUST NOT AS NICE.  THEY ARE BOTH REALLY BRIGHT AND PRETTY GOOD LOOKING UNLESS YOU ARE STANDING ON TOP OF THEM.  ANYWAY, IF YOU KNOW THESE CARS YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND THESE CAPS IN ANY CONDITION.  I RATE ONE OF THESE A 4 MINUS  AND THE OTHER A 3 MINUS, ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE RARITY & CONDITION. A GREAT DEAL. 13" HUBCAPS.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST YEAR.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE!  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THESE.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 9000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Cloud rises over diesel plan for Nissan Maxima

Wed, 18 Mar 2009

Nissan North America may postpone a V6 diesel engine planned for the Maxima sedan in 2010. Since the company revealed its Maxima diesel plan two years ago, gasoline prices have fallen dramatically, auto sales have collapsed and Nissan has begun reviewing product plans as it scrambles to restore profitability. "We haven't reached a decision on the diesel yet, but we have to consider where we want to put our capital investments," says Larry Dominique, North American vice president for product planning.

Ferrari Approved

Wed, 16 Jan 2008

By Stephen Dobie Motoring Issues 16 January 2008 18:45 Buying a Ferrari – if you have the money not exactly a method of torture in the first place – has just improved. Second-hand models sold through Ferrari UK’s 15-strong dealer network are set to be backed up by Ferrari Approved, a scheme adding some piece of mind to anyone buying a car up to nine years old. Aiming to sidestep the stereotype of unreliable Italian cars, it means the average 900 pre-owned supercars Ferrari UK dealers sells each year are intended to be as good as new.
