You are purchasing the hood panel from a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 coupe. May also fit 71-72 but check compatibility before bidding. It is a very  solid southern body panel, the rust shown under the right front lip is from the battery gassing. Take a look at the pics and decide before bidding if this is the item you need. Buyer to pay actual truck freight shipping charges, usually in the $200 range plus a low $50 crating fee. (Just shipped a quarter panel to eastern PA for $191.) Also have the rear quarters, rear frame rails, front sub body. You may also arrange for and/or pick-up yourself at our location in Hazel Green AL 35750. If you need more info you may call Ala-Tenn Mustang 256-828-6848. All my items are SOLD AS IS, but look at my feedback, you wont be disappointed as I try to give a fair description. Also, the SS trim in the Chevy Cobalt lineup will be limited to the coupe body style.

We're still not sure what we see above, and leading scientists aren't sure, either.
