 Hi,

I have the setup for the electric seat back release system for a 71 72 or 73 Mustang or Cougar. Be aware that the harness changed on 12/1/71 when you go to hooking these up.  You will need a couple more harnesses to hook these up, you are on your own there.    Both solenoids work although one seems stronger than the other, not sure why.   Included are the 2 solenoids, underseat wiring and the driver and Passenger hardware.     Please see pictures for how they were hooked up before I remove them from the seats.   THE SEATS ARE NOT INCLUDED.  You will need the dash wiring harness and wiring that supports the electric seat back release option.

Click on the link below to see a video of them working, give it a minute to load.

Green Car Award Winners – all more polluting than a Porsche 911

Fri, 16 Jul 2010

The Porsche 911 Carrera - less polluting than the What Car Green Car Award Winners Earlier today we did a round-up of this year’s What Car Green Car Award winners. Which many find of interest as they believe the right thing to do is buy a car with low CO2 emissions. Regular readers will know that we are not impressed with the obsession with CO2 and want Governments to stop taxing motorists based on the nonsense that CO2 is harmful, and instead base taxation and future objectives for the car industry on what really matters – emissions from cars that are detrimental to health.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage ends & big changes afoot at Aston Martin

Sat, 04 May 2013

Launched as a limited edition V12 Vantage in 2009, by 2010 Aston decided there was enough demand to make the V12 Vantage a proper part of Aston’s standard offerings, and since then it’s been the same. The V12 Vantage has also spawned a Roadster version (which, we think, stays in production – at least for now) and the slightly bonkers V12 Zagato, which conspired to look a bit too extreme for an Aston and cost an arm and a leg. We know that AM sold around 1200 V12 Vantage Coupes, around 100 V12 Vantage Roadsters and a handful of V12 Zagatos, but now the run is at an end and we do wonder if there will be a replacement?

GM to seek another shared Toyota model to replace Vibe

Mon, 27 Apr 2009

Even as it shrinks its North American product portfolio, General Motors is negotiating with Toyota Motor Corp. to determine a new GM product to be jointly produced at the automakers' 50-50 joint venture, New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. A GM spokesman said that, if successful, the negotiations would result in a new model for one of GM's surviving brands -- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac.
