1971-1975 Chevrolet Impala Original Clock fully restored. This clock has a General Time mechanical movement that has been cleaned, oiled, and calibrated. The set stem has a broken collar that I was not able to replace. This causes the stem to flop about a bit when not in the car, but once you install this into your Chevy, it won't be an issue at all. The face has been repaired and sealed, and the hands repainted. I didn't repaint the face as the original just needed freshened up a bit.

Electric cars to be powered by AA-style batteries
Tue, 01 Apr 2014A NEW COMPANY is claiming its new design of battery could see future electric cars powered by batteries no bigger than the current AA size. LipraLoof Techologies Ltd, a new start-up, has teamed up with City Car Club to trial the new technology in its fleet of vehicles. The new batteries use a complex mix of metal hydrates to create a quad, or 4A battery, which produces far more power than a standard battery.

To redefine its industrial processes in accordance with its policy of environmental sustainability, Lamborghini has just begun a project to complete installation of a large photovoltaic system by the end of 2009. The roof-top plant will produce 1,582 Megawatt hour (MWh) of “green” energy per year, which translates into a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions (-1,067,820 Kg/year) by 2010.
