1971-1976 Cadillac Trunk Lock Cover Assemby- Eldorado Deville Fleetwood - Sharp! on 2040-parts.com
Villa Park, Illinois, United States
Cadillac embellishments set them apart from the other GM car lines...and this item is a big part of that 1970's identity.
This auction is for an clean Trunk Lock Cover Assembly, for the early and mid 1970's Cadillacs as listed. (This is NOT a cheap foreign knock-off replacement/repro that will disappoint you!) Maybe yours was broken off or just pitted and colorless? Then this is the perfect bolt-in replacement. Very shiny, awesome coloring (restored), some small random pits (not too visible as you can see_....Latch works great too! These decent originals are far and few between, as they are over 40 years old....don't snooze and lose on a sharp item like this! I have hundreds of 1971-78 Eldorado parts...message me if you need anything in particular! |

Nissan’s NV200 London Taxi revealed in production guise
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Nissan’s NV200 London Taxi revealed in production guise The lack of investment in the traditional London Taxi has left the door wide open for competitors, and Mercedes has made a good pitch with its Vito Taxi. But perhaps the most promising option for London Cabbies is the new Nissan NV200 Taxi for London – previewed over a year ago – which has now been fettled enough to be rolled out in something very close to production guise. Designed by Nissan’s London Design Studio, the NV200 Taxi for London is very similar to those Nissan has produced for other iconic taxi hotspots round the world – like the yellow New York Nissan Taxi – but comes with a bit of a pastiche of the traditional black cab’s nose with a new grill and round headlights.
Alfa Romeo 8C Spider at Geneva
Fri, 07 Mar 2008By Mark Walton Motor Shows 07 March 2008 17:11 What’s new on the Alfa Romeo Geneva Motor Show stand?Alfa’s youthful new CEO Luca De Meo swept into Geneva like the heir-apparent he no doubt is, to unveil the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider. Even though this is now a well-known car that’s been previewed a dozen times at events around the world (including the 2006 Goodwood Festival of Speed and 2005 Pebble Beach) it still drew a big crowd for the official launch; and when the silky red cover was drawn off, there were still an audible gasp from audience, despite the familiarity. Shown in white with dark grey alloys and a deep tan interior, the Spider is an achingly beautiful car – a stunning, proper, drop-dead drop-top, arguably even more sensuous and dramatic than the 8C Competizione coupe that preceded it.
