1971-1976 Nos New Cadillac Trunk Lid Lock Wreath Eldorado Deville Fleetwood Wow! on 2040-parts.com
Villa Park, Illinois, United States
**** LAST ONE **** I recently purchased a box of vintage Cadillac hood ornaments, emblems and misc parts from the estate of a former Cadillac mechanic....who served for 20+ years between the mid 1970's to 1990's. He apparently had an appreciation for crests/wreaths, and had a modest collection of them in NOS and/or mint condition examples. He did not retain the original boxes, as they were in a glass case for display. I am identifying this collection and posting these pristine examples over the next few weeks, so that they can find homes on the vintage cars they truly deserve. Using my Master Parts books, I will identify the applications as best I can, but as always, the final determination for use on your car is your responsibility. I have hundreds of 1971-78 Eldorado parts...message me if you need anything in particular. |

Fifth Gear on TV – the Return
Tue, 23 Mar 2010Fifth Gear Returns to TV in April with a new format Fifth Gear was everyone’s second favourite car show on TV. And that second favourite label seemed to be its undoing when FIVE decided last year to ditch the show after it failed to make any impact on the ratings against everyone’s favourite car show on TV – Top Gear. But FIVE (channel five if we ditch the trendy CAPITALS) have had a change of heart, done a syndication deal or two for Fifth Gear and are putting together a new series (they’ve actually commissioned two of them) which should hit TV screens at the end of next month.
Alfa Romeo going to the USA
Fri, 26 Jun 2009Alfa Romeo is going back to the US for the first time in almost 20 years We already know that the only Fiat making its way to the US is the Fiat 500, but it now looks as if a big chunk of the Alfa Romeo range will make the journey too. Sergio Marchionne, Fiat’s boss and the new head of Chrysler, has been working on rationalising Chrysler’s management and working out the best way forward. As mentioned, only the Fiat 500 will be offered for sale in America (and probably built in Mexico), with Fiat platforms being used to build new Chryslers that will be designed and built in the States.
