OUR REBUILD SERVICE WORK ON THESE GAUGES IS WARRANTIED FOR A FULL TWO YEARS!!!! TWICE AS LONG AS ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD!!!! Smiths 1970-1972 BSA (A75 models ONLY) 150 mile per hour BLACKFACE speedometer and BSA Smiths BLACKFACE 10,000 RPM tachometer. Bottom faces of these Smith's gauges are marked SSM 5007/00 on the speedometer and RSM 3003/13 on the tachometer. The speedometer only has .3 tenths of a single mile on it which was 'run in' distance only when it was on a calibration stand. The tachometer is CORRECTLY marked on its face as a 4 to 1 unit. This set is absolutely correct for the BSA A75 Rocket 3, NOT for BSA twins which require a 3 to 1 tachometer unit. See my other auctions for that set. The internal parts of these gauges have been removed, completely renovated and calibrated to meet the specifications of newly remanufactured gauges. The rebuild of these Smiths gauges included the following: The cans (cases) were professionally powdercoated to Concours quality standards. The cans do not have a single ding, dent or damage. Then the inside of the cans were painted with white epoxy paint (the only paint that will not peel, turn to dust) for many, many years. Then the blue, light enhancing, paint was sprayed on the one section of the inside the EXACT same way and in exactly the same shade as Smiths did it when these gauges were built. This gives a softer shine to the light rather than just harsh white light. The center aluminum buttons were polished and the correct shade of flourescent paint was added to the needles. Then NEW bezels, glass, upper and lower rubber glass sealing seals and new stainless steel chassis screws and washers were added, along with new internal and external shock absorbing rubber biscuit mounts and the stainless steel nuts and washers for the mounting of these to the stock BSA mounting bracket were then added. This whole package of gauges are ready to JUST BOLT ON AND GO!!!!. I understand these particular gauges are correct for all 1971-72 BSA A75 Rocket Three models. But you are, ultimately, the only one that can decide if these are right for your particular application. Shipping is $13.00 within the 48 states. Will ship throughout the world using the US Post Office's Express International Mail which comes with full value insurance and it also comes with a tracking number for the buyer's and seller's peace of mind as you will be able to track the delivery progress all the way to your doorstep. Just use Ebay's ship[ping calculator to see the actual cost to your destination. You are, of course, also welcome to pick this item up locally for free. Any returns must be accomplished within 7 days of receiving item. Return must be the same item you were sent. NO SUBSTITUTION OF ITEM OR SUBSTITUTION OF ANY / ALL PARTS ON ITEM AND ITEM MUST BE IN THE SAME UNDAMAGED CONDITION AS PICTURED AND AS SHIPPED. Any substitution will invalidate seller's return policy and as such WILL NOT BE HONORED AS A VALID RETURN. I will gladly combine shipping costs on multiple wins. Paypal is payment of choice but I also accept other PROPAY, POSTAL, etc. Payment must be received within 7 days of end of auction. Any questions just e-mail me. Thank you and good luck on the bidding!!!

Ferrari F450 prototype spied as F430 successor heads for Frankfurt debut

Fri, 27 Mar 2009

Spy photographer Brenda Priddy serves up a fresh look at the Ferrari F450, the car set to replace the F430 in Ferrari's lineup later this year. From this prototype, spotted being loaded into a hauler, we see that the styling is updated but not a radical departure from the F430. The new model designation comes from an increase in displacement for the V8 to 4.5 liters.
