This ac and heater unit was removed from a 73 cougar parts car about 5 years ago. Before disassembling the car the heater and ac blower motor did work, all vacum controls worked also. Before putting this auction up I tested the blower motor it still runs, there is some noise for a few seconds then it runs quietly. All duct flaps still open and shut. The box needs a few small repairs, as you can see in photos. The ac condenser and heater core are still in the the box . I blew air into them to make sure they are not clogged. The heater core did not leak when the car was running five years ago, but remember these parts have been in my attic for five years. This would be a good unit to recondition or it may take little effort to get functioning as is. This is an original factory air unit. It may fit 71-73 mustangs as well.

DAB radio in cars and the digital switchover

The official target for the digital radio switchover is 2015, but many commentators predict that date will slip as there is a great deal of work to be done before Britain is ready.

Hoon Small! Fiat 500 Abarth to start at $22,000

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

Fiat's U.S. arm is hoping that the Abarth-tuned antisocial edition of its diminutive 500 will inject some heat into the model's disappointing sales figures. Pricing it starting at $22,000, not including destination charges, should make the heated, tiny Italian more compelling to hot-hatch enthusiasts.
