This rear side marker is correct for the passenger  side on the 1971-74 AMX and Javelin.    It can be used on the opposite driver  side, but the lettering on the red lens will be upside down.  SAE PIA71 AB on the top portion of the amber lens and AB on the bottom portion of the amber lens. Multiple part numbers on the back: TL-01896C, SF-3661200, SF-3636748, SF-3665076

- Chrome is faded along the edges.  This might be one of the later ones that is painted silver instead of chrome plated. Sand it down and apply chrome paint for a restored look.
- Red lens is in ok condition, but there is a crack by one of the screw holes.   About 1/2" long.
- There is a crack on the rear by the socket connector.

So with the world's biggest electronics trade show, the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), opening today in Las Vegas, we thought it high time for Car Design News to attend.  The 2011 show has a strong automotive flavor, more so than in any previous year. CAR GIANT BMW has finally taken the wraps off the eagerly-awaited new Mini. The latest reincarnation of the popular car which first took to the road in 1959 shows a Mini that is quieter, longer, wider and taller than its predecessor. Shown off at BMW's plant at Cowley in Oxford where it will be made, the new Mini will start at £15,300 and will be available in the UK in spring 2014.
