This week's Concept Car of the Week is one of the most outrageous expressions of the wedge profile from the most unlikely company, the Aston Martin Bulldog. The Bulldog was officially launched on March 27, 1980 at the Bell Hotel at Aston Clinton, a sleepy English village. Its looks no doubt caused quite a stir amongst the locals.

The Range Rover Evoque 5 Door Video Although it’s good to see Land Rover being proactive with releasing information in response to web activity (the single image of the 5 door Evoque they released after it got papped at Paris, for example) we wonder if they’re in danger of having no dry powder left for the offical reveal of the 5 door Evoque at the LA Motor Show next month. Work is well underway on Britain’s latest land speed record attempt – the new Bloodhound SuperSonic Car (SSC) which aims to reach 1000mph plus. CAR reported on the preparation of the project in October 2008; one year later a mock-up is ready and the car is due to be built in Bristol’s docklands. The Bloodhound SSC houses one EJ200 Raf Euofighter Typhoon engine sitting above a hybrid rocket.
