As always, it is best for you to verify the part application for accuracy. I do my best, but am no expert. Please remember that NOS does not mean perfect. I try to list every flaw I see, but I do miss some, so if you are not happy, kindly let me know and I will try to make it right. Many of my parts also need cleaning, since we live next to a farm. I do not clean them for fear of damaging them. If you would like to pay by means other than Paypal, Ebay requires that the buyer ask..so feel free to ask. I charge actual shipping costs, including the cost of some supplies, but no handling costs. I try to ship within 24 hours Monday - Friday, but there are times when I am out of town so my listings do show longer handling times to accomodate that. At times, I may forget to change the weight of an item from a previous listing and the postage may seem high...please be assured I will adjust it if you let me know. I package very carefully and use materials and boxes appropriate for the item I am shipping. I ship USPS priority mail except for heavy parts. FBI hunts £1.8m eBay car fraudster
Sun, 03 Nov 2013The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the USA has issued a wanted poster for Nicolae Popescu, a Romanian man they suspect of leading a “sophisticated internet fraud scheme where criminal conspirators, posted advertisements on internet auction sites for merchandise for sale”. The scam – predominantly carried out using eBay Motors – convinced would-be buyers to part with money for cars that didn’t exist. On Bing: see pictures of car fraud 15 car-selling scams every car buyer should know about The conspirators posed as eBay sellers and then sent fraudulent invoices, that appeared to be from legitimate online payment services, with instructions for payment to bank accounts held in the United States.
NHTSA proposes rules for automakers to add sound to hybrids, EVs
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Automakers would need to make hybrids and electric vehicles emit sound under rules that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration proposed on Monday. The rules, ordered by Congress three years ago, are meant to protect pedestrians and bicyclists from vehicles that make little sound when using electric power. NHTSA says that designing the vehicles to make noise at speeds below 18 mph would prevent about 2,800 injuries over the life of each model year of vehicles.
