This is an original steering wheel from a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera.  This steering wheel was used on all DeTomaso Panteras beginning in 1971 and includes the lower vinyl tube cover.  The leather covering is badly worn which you can see in the 3rd picture.  You may be able to restore the original leather covering or replace it with a customs leather cover.  See my eBay  Store for more Pantera parts.  Payment is expected within 10 days of the close of the auction.  We charge actual shipping only, are glad to combine shipping or your welcome to pick it up at our shop.  Thanks!


CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design competition winner announced

Vladislav Domanin is the overall winner of the CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design competition. The announcement was made by Friedhelm Engler, Director GME Advanced Design, during the second day press day of the Paris motor show on the Opel/Vauxhall stand. Mateusz Wowk from the Academy of Art of Design in Wroclaw was this year's runner-up in the exterior category, while Matic Vihtelic of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Ljubljana, was declared runner-up in the interior category.

Ford to introduce inflatable seatbelts

When the 2011 Ford Explorer hits showrooms, its move to a unibody platform won't be the only major change. Ford will use the next-generation Explorer to introduce inflatable seatbelts for rear passengers. According to Ford, the inflatable seatbelt will help distribute crash forces across five times more body area, compared with traditional seatbelts.

AXE WOES

AN ORDINARY car journey almost turned into a horror film on a highway north of the US city of Boston when an axe smashed through the windscreen of a car. Massachusetts State Police say the axe bounced out of a dump truck. A photo was released showing the axe with a corner of its blade stuck in the passenger side of the car's dashboard.
