This is a very nice brand new well-detailed 1971 Dodge DEMON "Ramchargers" dragster diecast collectible. It was made in the popular 1:64 scale by the Playing Mantis/RC2 Company as part of the Johnny Lightning adult series and is nicely detailed including proper trim and the authentic period-correct racing graphics/equipment. U.K. firm plans modern Jensen Interceptor
Tue, 20 Sep 2011CPP, a British specialist automotive group co-owned by Russian businessman Vladimir Antonov, said it will build a modern version of the iconic Jensen Interceptor grand tourer, starting in 2014. Healey Sports Cars Switzerland, which owns the Jensen brand, has appointed CPP to engineer, develop and build the car, CPP said on Tuesday. CPP will build the Interceptor in a new factory on the site of the former Jaguar Browns Lane plant in Coventry, England.

Thu, 08 Nov 2012Recently a press release popped into my email (remember when we used to say “came across my desk”?) that said Eddy Cue, Apple's head of Internet software and services, has joined Ferrari's board of directors. The statement said while on the board Cue, a Ferrari owner, will “aid with his experience in Internet-based commerce.” My two cents: It's a brilliant move for both parties, and the ramifications could be huge. Think about it: Does this mean Apple wants to make stuff for cars?
