Up for auction is an original Honda black & white picture of the 1971 CT-90 K3 TRAIL 90 motorcycle. This picture was produced by Honda and was included in the new model binder given to the attendees at the 1971 new model convention in the fall of 1970. The model name and number is printed on the white border at the bottom. The back of the picture is blank. If you look closely, you will notice this is the picture that Honda uses in its Model Identification Guide. If you are a CT90 fan, this would be an interesting addition to your collection, as this picture was only available to dealers and there can't be too many left in existence.

The picture measures 10" wide X 8" tall on photo stock paper.

The photograph is in great condition. The paper has some "curl" from normal aging. There are a couple of small dings in the white border on the top edge. The picture was stored a clear sheet protector and the top edge was in contact with the metal rings of a 3-ring binder.

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL, PERIOD CORRECT HONDA PHOTOGRAPH, NOT A COPY, SCAN OR REPRODUCTION.

KIA WINS AUTO EXPRESS USED CAR SCHEME OF THE YEAR

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

KIA’S Approved Used Car Scheme has been recognised as the best in the industry having been crowned Used Car Scheme of the Year in the Auto Express Used Car Awards 2011. The magazine praised Kia for going above and beyond normal approved used programmes with a number of customer benefits including its industry-leading seven year warranty that is fully transferable to subsequent owners.  Approved Used Kias don’t just get the balance of their manufacturer warranty.  Instead, the warranty is topped back up to the full seven years meaning that an Approved Used Kia gets the same warranty as a brand new Kia. Commenting on the award, John Hargreaves, Head of Vehicle Remarketing, Kia Motors said: “When we launched our Approved Used Car Scheme we set out to ensure it really did represent the best possible deal for customers so we’re obviously very proud that this been recognised by Auto Express with this award.

Update: Video of the ZR1 removal added below. Workers at the National Corvette Museum have begun removing eight cars from the bottom of a sinkhole that appeared inside the museum's Skydome last month. The first car to make it back to ground level is the 2009 Corvette ZR1 prototype nicknamed "Blue Devil." Incredibly, the ZR1 reportedly cranked right up and even made it to the doorway of the Skydome under its own power.

'Four out of five' drivers support speed cameras

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

FOUR OUT OF FIVE drivers in the UK are in favour of speed cameras and think they are useful in reducing injuries on our roads. Research by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) shows 80% of British drivers supports speed cameras, though there is still scepticism about the positioning of some caemras. Half (52%) of those polled by the IAM said they did not believe speed cameras are only positioned at the sites where accidents have occurred.
