1971 Mercury Cougar Am-fm Stereo With "cougar" Script Face Lower Price+free S&h on 2040-parts.com
Albuquerque, New Mexico, US
Very nice and very rare original 1971 Cougar factory AM-FM stereo radio. I bought this a while back for a project and never used it. It is untested because I have no way to test it. I am going to assume it needs to be serviced since it is 40+ years old. Therefore, it is sold as-is and without a guarantee of any kind. Cosmetically, I would give it an 8 or 9 out of 10. I do not have knobs for this radio. The wiring has been cut as shown in the pictures. Very nice example of a hard to find in any condition radio.

Fiat 500 gets Stop-Start
Fri, 06 Feb 2009Flavour of the month, stop-start, and here’s another to add to the list. The Fiat 500 gets Start&Stop (I’ve lost count of the different monikers) as an option on the 1.2 Lounge, using Bosch technology to beef up the system to make it reliable. The Stop/Start also gets another Fiat moniker – Blue&Me – which gives the driver EcoDrive to aid emissions and adds hands-free phone and an entertainment system.
Jaguar B99 by Bertone: Still looks like Jaguar past to us
Wed, 02 Mar 2011The Bertone B99 Jaguar Concept – Still looks like a pastiche to us With Jaguar looking more than seriously at a New Small Jaguar to take the BMW 3 Series on at its own game, it seems almost certain Jaguar’s had a part to play in the design of Bertone’s take on a smaller Jaguar – the Bertone B99. Did they purposely ask Bertone to style a car that draws big cues from Jaguar’s own history? Or was that Bertone’s doing?
