On auction is an Motorcraft large bore,(1.25) Model 4300D  1971 Mustang and Torino four-barrel carburetor. The base of the carburetor is stamped: D1OF AAA.  The carburetor is for a 351cuin engine with Automatic Transmission.  This a complete carburetor core, including matching tag.  ALL parts move freely including the idle adjustment screws.  It is in excellent condition,  a little dirty, but should clean up easily.   The carburetor is sold as is with no returns. Top Gear's James May in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport The Top Gear boys were running rumours around a few days ago that they had been in on the new world record speed for a production car set by the Veyron Super Sport. We didn’t know exactly what they’d done, but we did know none of the three amigos were at the wheel when the Super Sport averaged  267.81mph. So we thought we’d wait and see what came out in the wash before we reported it.

The Mitsubishi Outlander Juro The Mitsubishi Outlander has been with us since 2005 and a facelift has been coming ever since Mitsubishi showed the Outlander GT Concept at the New York Motor Show around this time last year. Australia managed to get the Outlander facelift back in September, but it’s taken until now for the UK to get up to date. And even now Mitsubishi aren’t exactly offering the facelifted Outlander for immediate delivery.

The Scion FR-S Concept - the North American Toyota FT-86 It’s actually starting to look as if Toyota – and Subaru, for that matter – are really going to finally get their respective fingers out and deliver to the market the affordable sports cat they’ve been promising for the last two year. The original Toyota FT-86 surfaced in 2009 with a promise of affordability and fun and we all got quite excited, especially as it was a surprisingly brave move for an increasingly bland and corporate Toyota.
