From a '71 Roadrunner, here is the driver's-side rear quarter panel, cut off just ahead of the centerline of the wheelwell.  The only rust damage is in the front corner of the trunk-lid weatherstrip channel (see closeup photo).  Has no rust damage in the lower area (which is the usual area to have it).  This assembly was cut just to the inside of the seam between the trunk pan extension and the trunk pan, and so it includes the full trunk pan extension, which is also free of rust damage.  This assembly has no bondo, and is straight and dent-free aside from a couple of dings along the top edge.  Will also fit '71 Satellite 2-door, but is not correct for '72, which has a different side marker light opening.  Buyer to pay $110 shipping (via Greyhound, lower 48 states).

Silverstone redevelops Stowe: new pictures

Mon, 16 Nov 2009

By Christopher Erasmus First Official Pictures 16 November 2009 14:28 This is the new Stowe Complex at Silverstone, the first step in the racing circuit's new £7 million track development programme, and the main feature to attract corporate and product events to the track ahead of major planned events in 2010.Will Silverstone's new Stowe Complex affect the 2010 Moto GP or possible return of the British grand prix? No, the complex is a separate development within the full F1 circuit, and should be fully complete by March 2010, in time for the Moto GP in June 2010 and the still-possible British GP in July 2010. The development is designed to attract manufacturers and corporate events types to come and test at the Northamptonshire venue. So it's just a money-spinning scheme by Silverstone? Or are they actually building something important? The Stowe Complex is certainly a way for Silverstone to generate some important revenue and publicity.

Ford's V6 gamble turbocharges sales of F-150

Mon, 15 Aug 2011

Five years ago, when Ford considered a push to put a pricey, premium V6 in more F-150s, it seemed like a dangerous gamble with a macho, full-sized pickup known for toughness and capacity. To many dealers and company insiders, it seemed like a bad joke. "I once said, "Bubba don't buy nothing but a V8, and we've got a lot of Bubbas out here,'" recalls Martin Gubbels, owner of Big Sky Ford-Lincoln in Torrington, Wyo.

2015 Lincoln MKC pricing announced

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

We've been impressed with the 2015 Lincoln MKC so far, but price and performance are going to have a lot to do with whether or not these crossovers will fly off lots when they go on sale next year. We're still waiting for a test drive, but at least we now have a better grasp of the MKC's pricing structure. The crossover will be offered in three basic trims: Premiere, Select and Reserve.
