Attention: Pontiac GTO and Firebird enthusiasts up for auction “RARE” 1971, 455 H.O. single groove crank pulley. This is a one year only crank pulley correct for manual steering. Pulley has been media blasted and powder coated 60° gloss black. Pulley measures 7-7/16" in diameter (part # 481036YB). Auction includes pulley, reinforcement ring and new bolts. Pulley is in Excellent condition. Pulley may be correct for other Pontiac models, do your home work and you decide. 2014 Kia Soul “Red Zone” takes it to the house
Fri, 06 Dec 2013Kia Motors America announced its first special edition for the second generation 2014 Soul, dubbed “Red Zone.” This quirky, boxy compact car will get a head-to-toe makeover, taking inspiration and design cues from the 2012 Chicago Auto Show favorite, the Track'ster concept. The exterior of the Soul gets bright white paint, accented by pops of red. The grille, front and rear fascias and side skirts also will receive the distinguished red embellishments, adding to what Kia describes as “the aggressively styled body kit.” Custom 18-inch alloy wheels complete the “Red Zone” makeover.
Alfa Romeo 4C Spider revealed: Geneva Motor Show
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider (pictured) revealed in Geneva The Alfa Romeo 4C is the epitome of a modern ‘supercar’, with ultra light weight (for a production car) allowing the 4C to produce very good performance from its modest 17500cc engine. So producing an Spider convertible immediately raises the weight issue in a more dramatic way when the car’s abilities are so dependent on it low weight, but it seems the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider – previewed as a production car with a concept at Geneva today – has managed to keep the wight penalties of the convertible 4C down to a minimum. Thanks to a canvas roof and carbon fibre rollover bars, the weight penalty for the Spider is only about 60kg (around a 7 per cent gain) which shouldn’t hurt performance too much.
