I am retiring and its time to sell alot of the goodies my late husband and I have accumulated over the years. Up for sale is a nice 1972 1973 1974  Full Size C-Body Dodge Plymouth AM/FM Radio.  On the bottom cover is a note that says " Serviced Plays Good!" and a tag with Model number 3501 521 and 2PD2251. We picked up this radio and alot of others over the years at various venues. I recently had it tested and it plays great up and down the dial on both AM and FM. The case is clean with no rust. All mechanicals work as they should. Also all the station presets work as they should. The lens, slidebar and pushbuttons look to be in good condition with some minor peeling of the chrome on the slidebar. All factory wiring is intact.  It comes with a full set of usable knobs as shown. I'm selling the radio without a warranty because the electonics are over 35 years old and I don't trust old electronics. I will be putting up more radios from my late husbands estate for sale this week and next week. The radio you see in the picture is the one you get. Please read description and ask any questions before purchase. Buyer pays fixed rate shipping of $15.00  for USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Shipping (Lower 48 states only). I carefully wrap my radios in Bubble Wrap to insure safe shipping. I accept Paypal. Any questions, feel free to email me. Good Luck and Thanks for Looking!!      RA-559

Barclays bids bye-bye to 'Boris Bikes'

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

BARCLAYS is to end its sponsorship of the so-called Boris Bikes, introduced by London Mayor Boris Johnson to the capital in 2010. The bank's logo has adorned the blue cycles since their introduction three years ago.But Transport for London (TfL) will be forced to look for a new sponsor after Barclays announced plans to discontinue with the deal at the end of its contract in 2015. The bikes were launched amid much fanfare in August 2010, with nearly a million journeys made within the first 10 weeks of the scheme being rolled out.

Audi A5 ‘Suicide’ Advert – Fake

Sun, 10 Jan 2010

The Audi A5 Suicide Avert has been dubbed a fake by Audi of America Doing the ‘Viral’ rounds over the last few days on the interweb has been a video for the Audi A5 ‘Clean Diesel’ which really didn’t seem to fit in to the non-contentious Audi mainstream ethos we are used to seeing. A carefully crafted image can easily be decimated by one careless word or deed (Gerald Ronson springs to mind) and, amusing though some of us with a sicker sense of humour found the A5 ad, we couldn’t see how Audi would sanction it – even just for online use. The advert features a man driving an Audi A5 in to a deserted car park.

Bugatti Veyron, McLaren F1 and Mr Bean +video

Wed, 09 Dec 2009

Rowan Atkinson gets to play with his McLaren F1 and a Bugatti Veyron. Which is best? But much the same was said – and continues to be said – about the McLaren F1.
