This has been in storage for years and appears to be a take off from a car. I cleaned and lubricated the movement and replaced the wind relay, and it works great. We can for a full restoration on this clock if needed, but that will cost extra.

1972-1976 Ford Ranchero & Gran Torino, Mercury Montego

Used clock repaired, but not restored, by D&M Restoration

This is a working clock.  I have no idea how long ago it was taken off a vehicle, but it was plenty dirty.  Also, the top back screw has a broken tab, but plenty of plastic for the screw to do it's job.

We can do a full restoration on this if needed.  There are some swirl marks in the plastic that I was not able to buff out, and will not be able to buff out even on a full restoration.  A full restoration would cost an additional $150, but then the clock would be covered by our 1 year warranty.  But, the clock's movement is freshly cleaned and oiled, and should give you years of enjoyment as is.

Councils urged to shun yellow lines

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

COUNCILS are being asked to cut unsightly yellow lines as part of a Government drive to rid the streets of clutter. Local Transport Minister Norman Baker has urged local authorities to think about using restricted parking zones, instead of automatically opting to use yellow lines to control parking, particularly in single streets and environmentally-sensitive areas in towns and cities. Restricted parking zones require a limited number of signs which tell motorists if they can or can not park and during which times and are considered less intrusive than conventional yellow lines.

GTbyCitroen does London

Tue, 23 Jun 2009

The GTbyCitroen has been out seeing the sights in London And so it has been lately with the Citroen Supercar – the GTbyCitroen. We’ve had the news that the UK debut of the GT Citroen will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July – where it will tackle Goodwood’s Hillclimb – and just a few weeks before we learnt that the GTbyCitroen was going to make an appearence and put in a parade lap at Le Mans. And now, no doubt because the GTbyCitroen is in the UK for Goodwood, Citroen has been out playing at London Tourist – blatting around town in the GT.

AW survey: Honda Element won't be missed

Wed, 15 Dec 2010

Is Honda making a mistake by killing the Element SUV after the 2011 model year? AutoWeek readers think not. Our poll shows that 56 percent of voters indicated a readiness to wave good-bye to the “toaster on wheels.” On the other hand, 32 percent found the Element was supremely useful and cool, and 12 percent signaled they didn't know how to transport their dogs anymore in its absence (remember the “dog-friendly” Element?).
