Staying on top of recalls is key to maintaining the safety and overall well-being of your vehicle.To make things easy, we've completed the following list of the most recent recalls involving Honda and Acura cars, crossovers and SUVs. 2012 Honda recalls: --December 12, 2012 — Honda is recalling 318,000 Honda Odyssey minivans, 259,000 Honda Pilot SUVs from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and 230,000 Acura MDX luxury SUVs from the 2003 through 2006 model years. Honda said a malfunction in the ignition-interlock feature of these vehicles could allow the key to be removed from the ignition before the car in has been placed in “park.” All but 64,000 of affected vehicles were sold in the United States.

2012 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer - pretty much the same as the concept GM’s European arms of Vauxhall and Opel managed to tease us with the Zafira Tourer Concept back in February with a hologram of the new 7-seat Zafira hovering over the iPad of designer Mark Adams. Which if we have to have new cars teased this was at least a thought-out and original way to go. POTHOLES cause 'over £1 billion in damage every year'

POTHOLES are costing British drivers £1.2 billion every year due to damage to suspension, steering and wheels. This is a 16% rise in the cost of damage to cars on the UK’s roads and the weather has played a major part in the rise in the number of potholes. Councils say they don’t have the money to deal with the problem due to budget cuts and there has also been an 18% increase in the number of dangerous potholes reported during the past 12 months according to the Asphalt Industry Alliance (AIA).
