This auction is for the trunk lock latch assembly from a 1972 Ford Maverick 2 door coupe. Item is used and is being sold "AS-IS" and with NO REFUNDS. Also fits Mercury Comet and other production years, so check a sourcebook for your specific application before you bid.   I don't have the key or lock tumbler itself!

This does work, as I tried it several times myself at the scrap yard with a screwdriver. Latch assembly is greasy and dirty and will be shipped that way!

** Check out my other auctions for a few more parts from the same 1972 Maverick. If you don't see it listed, then I don't have it and the car was already crushed. Wasn't much left worth saving off this one when it came in...

I never end my auctions early so don't bother asking or I will just delete your emails...

Audi Traffic Light Recognition could save you money

Audi Traffic Light Recognition system (pictured) could save you money In the never ending quest to reduce fuel consumption – and, by definition, emissions – car makers are looking for every angle that might help. And Audi has come up with a traffic light recognition system they reckon could be good for a 15 per cent fuel saving. Sadly, Audi’s traffic light system doesn’t work by changing the lights to green as you get to them, but it is able to work out traffic light sequences and help you plan ahead.

The Ferrari 599 HTGE China Limited Edition But time they are a changin’ (thank you Mr D.), and China has become a big market for purveyors of luxury goods, none more so than Ferrari. So sticking together a Limited Edition Ferrari for the Chinese market is an eminently sensible move for Ferrari, even if the dozen models of the China Limited Edition will be a mere drop in the ocean in a country which boasts a population of 1.3 billion and still rising. So it seems a reasonable bet that Ferrari will have no trouble selling the China 599 to the extremely wealthy who now sit at the top of China’s financial pecking order.

Unlike Jaguar's previous free maintenance program, there is no cost for oil changes, filters, brake pads, brake discs, brake fluids and wiper blade inserts.
