I have put $15,500 into this vehicle and it is a beauty. No "little things" hanging to repair, it is done. 1500 miles on a "new" engine and switched to electronic ignition. New gas tank, seals and lines. New fan shroud. New wide whitewall tires. Brakes, clutch, transmission,  rear end, and entire interior all in excellent condition. For what this vehicle is, the asking price is a practically a give-away. It is a blast to drive this car and I get more thumbs up than I do on my Harley.

Citroen GT (GTbyCitroen Concept) – in the flesh

Sat, 23 May 2009

The GTbyCitroen Concept (Citroen GT) is making a Summer tour of Motor Events in Europe Which all fits very well with Citroen’s desire to reposition itself as a Premium Brand. The new range of Citroen DS models is part of that way forward, and Citroen obviously believes – probably quite rightly – that the Citroen GT is potentially a great ‘Halo’ model for the company. So Citroen are going to spend the Summer schmoozing with the Citroen GT at some high profile events.

True, there are many, many CES-related events held in hotels on the Vegas strip. Even the 2 million square feet of floorspace in the Las Vegas Convention Center can't accommodate every widget- and gizmo-maker that wants to show off a product.

A NEW report commissioned by a parliamentary safety group claims that deaths and serious injuries on the roads are likely to cost society £110 billion in the years to 2030. According to the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for Transport Safety (Pacts), the total of those killed or seriously injured (KSIs) over this period is expected to be around a third of a million. These figures are expected despite the report predicting a dip in KSIs and slight injuries by 2030 compared with figures for 2012.
