Left front fender removed from 1972 Cougar. Fender is extremely clean, with nothing but light surface rust on the back side. Ther may be some minor dings, but no major dents on outside surface. Shipping is local pickup only but I will try to ship if neccessary. Be aware it is large and fairly heavy and will be expensive.

Who's Where: Jason Castriota joins Stile Bertone

Contrary to what was previously disclosed, Car Design News has now confirmed that Jason Castriota, who left his position at Pininfarina on the eve of the Paris Motor Show in September, is set to become Design Director at Stile Bertone. He will start his new position on December 1. Castriota had initially intended to set up his own design consultancy before being approached by Bertone.

The Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) will unveil this futuristic concept at next week's Beijing motor show. Called the Leaf, the new concept has no relation to Nissan's concept car shown in Tokyo last year. It is a much more fanciful two-seat concept car whose design is entirely open to the elements, and it also features a slew of environmentally-friendly technologies.

Spyker and China’s Youngman are launching joint ventures to build the Spyker D8 SUV and develop the Saab Phoenix platform. Muller’s Spyker and China’s Youngman – putative seller and buyer of Saab – are teaming up with a pair of joint ventures that will see Spyker’s long awaited Super SUV – the once D12 SUV and now D8 – coming to market, and Saab’s Phoenix Platform exploited.
