1972 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS SUPREME AND HURST/OLDS NOS FRONT GRILLES & CENTER. Here it is – the best you can get for your collectible Oldsmobile. Make no mistake, these are brand new General Motors Left & Right grille assemblies and brand new General Motors center stone shield. They were recently removed from a large collection of rare and valuable parts for the first time and have always been kept in clean, dry storage. We are offering both grille assemblies. These are in perfect condition, complete with factory silver argent paint and both of the bright stainless moldings. GM Part No. 410674 & 410675 stamped right into the grlles. The center plastic stone shield is also brand new and never used, and still has the GM Parts Department IBM tag attached with Part No. 410642/Shield on it.

The front grilles and centerpieces on ’72 Cutlass Supreme models were almost all damaged in some way because they were very fragile and in a vulnerable spot close to the bumper. I’ve seen damage on some cars when they were not even one year old. For that most important, factory original restoration, there is nothing like NOS parts! The 1972 Cutlass Supreme has become so popular & valuable that parts for it are getting more difficult to locate, especially NOS GM parts. We placed a very reasonable reserve on this set. It is well worth it!  Same grilles were used for the famous 1972 Hurst/Olds Pace Car, but they were blacked out, instead of argent gray.

Volvo S60 Concept car (2008): first official photos

Mon, 24 Nov 2008

By Simon Stiel First Official Pictures 24 November 2008 11:41 Volvo today releases the first exterior photograph of its new S60 Concept car that will appear at the Detroit motor show in January 2009 – ahead of a showroom launch in 2010. Last month, teaser photographs revealed the interior of the S60 concept car, but now we’ve got a glimpse of its exterior lurking in the shadows. Some have criticised the S60 for looking too similar to the S80 and other Volvos and this new model is designed to address that. Volvo is seeking a racier image and, we hear, is setting its sights on the Audi A4 and BMW 3-series (a task its predecessor never cracked).

Travis Pastrana canes the Global RallyCross Dodge Dart: Video

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

While Erik Carlsson showed the world that lunacy had an appropriate place in rallying—they didn't call him "Carlsson on the Roof" for nothing—it took Ken Block's marketing savvy and the paste-it-anywhere-and-watch ubiquity of YouTube to get a broad swath of American kids amped on the antic fun that can be had with an all-terrain compact car. In a bid to get that same group excited about the new Dodge Dart, Chrysler enlisted Travis Pastrana to pilot its Global RallyCross entry. And in a sort of low-budget, less-elaborate version of Block's wacky-upon-zany Gymkhana videos, Pastrana puts the Dart through its paces, losing the passenger-side rear corner of the bodywork in the process.
