Up for auction is a factory side tool box storage compartment for a 73-79 Ford pickup. This one is off of a 1977 model. It is in very good condition and has everything related to the assembly. Lid, Box, Outer frame, Trim, and bracket that holds the compartment up. Like I said this setup is in very good condition. I cut the frame out with the plasma and there is plenty of metal to flange it and weld it in. I will box it up and pack everything good before it is shipped. Porsche Boxster (2012) first official pictures
Thu, 12 Jan 2012Porsche only pulled the covers off the new 911 Cabriolet at the 2012 Detroit motor show three days ago, but it’s already unveiling another convertible: the new Porsche Boxster. Faster, lighter, cleaner, more economical, and (most importantly) better looking than its predecessor, it will be officially revealed at the Geneva motor show in March, before going on sale in the UK on 28 April 2012. Let’s start with the new Porsche Boxster’s looks then… It’s still recognisably a Boxster, but the headlights are now more vertically stacked, the doors are scalloped to flow into the bigger side intakes, a strong crease runs between the tail lamps and integrates with the pop-up rear spoiler, and every line and angle is just a little bit sharper and more dynamic. The Porschephiles amongst you would have also spotted that the folding fabric roof no longer has a panel to drop behind; instead the roof itself now doubles as the cover when the hood is stowed.
Red Tails Mustang joins auction at AirVenture Oshkosh
Tue, 24 Jul 2012Ford has produced a one-off Red Tails edition of the 2013 Ford Mustang GT for an auction at the Gathering of Eagles charity event on July 26. The event will take place during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2012 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis. Proceeds will benefit the Young Eagles program, which provides free introductory flights for young people.
New Audi e-Tron at Detroit – the ‘Compact’ e-Tron

Looking like an electric version of the Audi R8, it managed to steal some of the thunder from BMW’s Vision ED concept . Most notable was the stratospheric torque figures Audi quoted, which ultimately turned out to be somewhat disingenuous.
