THIS IS A SET OF SAIL PANELS AND UPPER HEADLINER MOLDINGS FROM A 1973 OLDS 442 IN BLACK. THE SAIL PANELS, THE SHOULDER HARNESS HOLDERS AND THE PIECE THAT JOINS THE SHOULDER HARNESS TO THE A PILLAR COVER AND ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE FRONT WINDSHIELD PIECE DOES HAVE SOME ROT ON ONE END THAT WOULD BE VISIBLE AND THE BACK GLASS TRIM HAS 2 SMALL HOLES DRILL IN THE CENTER  FOR WHAT LOOKED LIKE A THIRD BRAKE LIGHT BUT OTHERWISE IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND THESE HOLES COULD BE FILLED IN. ALSO THE UPPER LEFT PANEL HAS SOME UV DETERIORATION AT THE BASE AND WOULD HAVE TO BE SANDED LOSING THE GRAIN.  OVER ALL THIS IS A VERY NICE SET FOR ANYONE WITH A 73 A-BODY GM THAT NEEDS REPLACEMENT PANELS AND BLACK HOLDS UP MUCH BETTER TO UV RAYS THAN DO THE OTHER COLORS AND CAN BE DYED TO MATCH YOUR CAR.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE MOLDINGS FIT ONLY 1973 MODELS.

Toyota: Runaway Prius accounts ‘inconsistent' with testing

Mon, 15 Mar 2010

Toyota is challenging the accounts of a motorist whose Prius sped out of control last week in San Diego, calling his reports of the incident “inconsistent” with the initial findings of the company. Toyota released the results after two days of testing on a 2008 Prius hybrid that sped out of control last week in California, and it maintained that the car's brakes and throttle functioned properly. The now-infamous incident occurred on March 8, when a Prius driven by James Sikes was reported in a 911 call to be speeding uncontrollably.

Exclusive: Spyker drop Peking-Paris D12 in favour of D8

Fri, 17 Apr 2009

The Spyker Peking-Paris D8 will show at Frankfurt and cost just under £200k The Spyker Peking-Paris has been threatening to make its way in to production for what seems like a very long time now. However, Spyker has been beset by problems – mainly financial – for years, which has limited both their production and development capabilities, but recent investment from Russia has finally solved those problems, and Spyker is again starting to move forward. Cars UK has learnt that the clincher for the Russian investment was the investor’s love of the Peking-Paris, so with money in the kitty Spyker are pushing ahead with the car at speed.
