SD rods are still attached to STD size pistons. Rods are matched numbered set 1-8,came out of a running engine 30+ years ago. Rod caps show grinding for balancing. 16 NOS GM bolts #485227 & nuts # 493014 finger tight, never torqued. All parts were coated with LPS years ago for anti corrosion. Sun, 27 Dec 2009Some 40 years after Parnelli Jones drove a Bud Moore-built Boss 302 Mustang to the Trans-Am championship, Ford Racing has unleashed a new Boss 302R. The new Boss is an off-road-only Mustang that comes from the factory race-ready. Each of the limited-to-50 cars will come fitted with a 5.0-liter four-valve V8 and six-speed manual transmission.

The C-X16, a sporty two-seater hybrid, is designed to indicate the future direction of Jaguar's design, engineering and technological intent. The car is the smallest Jaguar in terms of length since the XK-120 from 1954.

Powertrain-wise, it's mechanically identical to the coupe, only now there's a soft-top roof that'll fold away in 15secs at speeds of up to 31mph. Folding the roof swallows 60 litres of the boot's 380-litre capacity, but it's the sonorous engine that we're more interested in...
