SD rods are still attached to STD size pistons. Rods are matched numbered set 1-8,came out of a running engine 30+ years ago. Rod caps show grinding for balancing. 16 NOS GM bolts #485227 & nuts # 493014 finger tight, never torqued. All parts were coated with LPS years ago for anti corrosion. Fri, 21 Mar 2014The VW Group W12 engine will now only be made by Bentley in Crewe It’s probably not something you’ve paused to think about much, but if you did you’d assume that the Bentley W12 engine – fitted to the Flying Spur and Continental GT as well as the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton – was made only in Crewe. But you’d be wrong. In fact, the W12 for Bentleys are made in Crewe but those used in the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton are actually built by VW at their engine plant in Salzgitter.
BMW Concept X5 eDrive hybrid set for Frankfurt motor show

The concept uses a four-cylinder gasoline engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology coupled with a 95-hp electric motor. This hybrid powerplant is coupled with BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system.
