for sale is a header panel emblem from a 1970 something Monte Carlo. it measures 2 1/2" H & has 2 studs. the # is T338573 C2. the top edges are beginning to show wear, but overall, this is a nice emblem. the clear plastic on front is very clean (no scratches, chips, etc. needs a clean & polish. it is original & old, so please don't expect perfect. happy bidding!

Vauxhall's new convertible will not be the Astra cabriolet, CAR has learned. Instead the new Astra-based convertible will be positioned as a separate, standalone model like Volkswagen's Eos. The new mid-sized Vauxhall/Opel convertible will be launched in 2012.

Ford has introduced a 2.0 litre version of the Mondeo ECOnetic We wouldn’t for a minute expect Ford to take the slightest bit of notice of us, but they have announced the launch of a second Ford Mondeo ECOnetic toady – this time an even ‘Greener’ version – so they’re going in the right direction! The new Ford Mondeo ECOnetic sports a 2.0 litre, 115bhp diesel engine which achieves a remarkable 54.3mpg (and remember, the Mondeo weighs in at over 1500kg). It manages to slip in to the sub 140g/km CO2 bracket – making it VED (Band E- £120pa)  and company car tax friendly – and comes as either a saloon or estate.

The Chevrolet Tru 140S Concept is the polar opposite to the Code 130R, with a front-wheel drive platform and cab-forward proportion, which Chevrolet believes translates into an ‘affordable exotic' image. Both concepts were designed as a result of the same research program. Externally, the 140S adopts the family grille and bow-tie graphics up front and quad rear lamps.
