I ship most items by US postal service priority mail. Some larger and/or heavier items I ship UPS ground. I don't ship parcel post anymore due to lost/damage packages, long time to deliver, and parcel post must be done in the post office.  For parcel post you have to pay extra for tracking & insurance, then the cost is close to priority mail that includes tracking and $50 of insurance.  I use priority mail because I can do it online and have the package picked up or dropped off 6 days a week, due to my work schedule I typically only can make it into the post office on Saturday mornings.  Some Saturdays I have to work then it would have to wait another week.  Most bidders want their package in a timely manner.  The charge is for shipping and handling. Ebay allows shipping & handling to cover shipping, materials, fees, and time.  Ebay & Paypal charges fees on the shipping & handling charge. There is a 10% fee on the shipping & handling cost by Ebay and nearly 3% fee on the shipping & handling cost by PayPal. So you will typically see the charged shipping & handling higher than the actual shipping cost.  I sometimes get back charged extra because the buyer doesn't give the correct address and they charge me extra for the correction.  Sorry about this but I try to list my items cheap enough and try to always make the shipping & handling cost available before a buyer even places a bid then they know up front how much it will cost and no surprises. I am an individual and not a business. Some large businesses can offer free shipping and absorb these fees & expenses but I can't.

I am sorry if the shipping & handling is too high for you and understand if you don't want to bid on the auction.

I leave feedback when only once you receive the item and have left me feedback.  At that point I consider the transaction complete and can leave you the only choice ebay gives me of positive feedback.
If you purchase more than one item I will do my best to combine shipping whenever possible.

There has been an error in the ebay checkout lately.  It sometimes shows a free shipping option.  If the bidder wants free shipping then the buyer must pickup the item locally.  Otherwise there is no free shipping, choose the correct shipping in the checkout.

Nissan Bevel concept

Mon, 08 Jan 2007

By Phil McNamara Motor Shows 08 January 2007 11:59 Nissan Bevel: the lowdown This is the Bevel, a concept car that makes a Swiss Army knife look one-dimensional. This versatile vehicle is more suitable for tradesmen than a van, has the interior flexibility of an MPV and looks that blend SUV- and people carrier-cues. Nissan's designers claim to have spotted a contemporary demographic – a group of 45-60-year-old males, who allegedly go bob-a-jobbing around the neighbourhoods helping others – and created a futuristic-looking van for these 'everyday heroes'.

Aston Martin Lagonda

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

The Aston Martin Lagonda name has been resurrected again, but this iteration promises to be far less controversial than the 2009 SUV concept. Created for a select group of Middle Eastern clients, this large three-box sedan (dimensions haven't yet been made available) offers a well-judged balance between the current Aston Martin range and the idiosyncratic 1970s Lagonda by William Towns. Its proportions are very extreme for a luxury sedan, with a cabin sat far rearwards behind a very shallow A-pillar.
