The car is being billed as a luxury commuter ride for urban areas. It's a Toyota iQ with a restyled front end with Aston Martin's styling cues.

The Camatte project is based around a customizable body with interchangeable body panels hung from a simple body structure and components that allows people to reengage with the inner workings of the motor car. It will be displayed in two configurations – Camatte Sora – the turquoise car – Camatte Daichi – the military-looking beige machine.

Technical highlights of the car include an extruded aluminum chassis weighing a mere 75kg clothed in carbon fiber, a two-liter supercharged engine with 400PS, an overall weight of 700kg, and headline performance figures of 0-100mph in 5.9 seconds.
