My BackgroundHi, my name is Mark Sain. I've been a car buff for many years. Here's a bit of my story: At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the 'car bug' bit and I have been infected with this disease for over forty years. The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967 you were born to love the muscle cars of that era. Over the last four decades I have bought, sold, restored and collected cars from every vintage. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and even a 1926 Studebaker! This diversified experience has included owning approximately 150 cars in the last forty-three years!
My family has lived in Florence for 25 years where we have established a good reputation within the community. We own and operate three businesses in Florence, which enables me to devote my 'hobby' time and energy to one of the real passions of my life. For me it has never changed. I grew up around the classic cars of the sixties and my wife jokingly says I have never grown up when it comes to these treasures. No more ‘approximately’ this and ‘sub’ that: here’s the complete list of top trumps. • 0-62mph (100km/h): 2.8sec – the same as a Nissan GT-R, 0.1sec faster than a Lamborghini Aventador, and 0.4sec faster than the original McLaren F1.• 0-124mph (200km/h): 6.8sec – faster than CAR’s long-term Subaru BRZ coupe hits 62mph.• 0-186mph (300km/h): 15.6sec – 5.5sec faster than a McLaren F1.

Thu, 27 Nov 2008Reventon #20 being delivered in Houston Car #20 was in fact delivered to Houston Lamborghini a short while ago. We already knew the stories were wrong when we saw them as John, one of our co-owners, knows the General Manager there, and he knew that car #20 was destined for a private collector in the States. It was delivered to him about 10 days ago.
Hybrid owners sue Ford over Fusion, C-Max mpg claims
Wed, 24 Apr 2013Pennsylvania car owners are suing Ford Motor Co., claiming that the 2013 Fusion hybrid and C-Max hybrid are not delivering on promised fuel-efficiency figures, according to a report from Bloomberg. Both hybrid models are advertised to return 47 mpg, but the owners say that number is inflated to seem more competitive among other midsize sedans, according to their court filing. The complaint says car owners who have submitted estimates to a fuel-economy tracking website averaged 38.5 mpg, a 10-mpg difference that can cost an additional $1,800 in fuel costs over five years, Bloomberg reports.
