1973 FORD MIRROR 

 MAKE SURE THIS IS RIGHT FOR YOU BEFORE YOU BID.  HERE WE HAVE WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE A 1973 FORD TRUCK DOOR MIRROR BASED ON WHAT WAS MARKED BY THE FORMER OWNER AND THE NUMBER. D3TB 17443-DA .  SO WITH THAT OTHER YEARS AND MODELS APPLY.   GLASS SIZE.  ABOUT 5 &1/2 BY 4 & 1/4. 

THIS IS A GOOD LOOKING MIRROR WITH GOOD GLASS AND NOT MUCH DETERIORATION IN THE GLASS.  A COUPLE OF LIGHT TINY SCRATCHES AND DISCOLORATION SPOTS ARE ABOUT IT.  THE MIRROR BODY AND STEM ARE BRIGHT WITH ALMOST NO PITTING.  THERE IS A LITTLE RIGHT AROUND THE BALL & A COUPLE OF OTHER TINY SPOTS HERE AND THERE. THERE IS ALSO A LITTLE CIRCULAR SCRATCH ON THE BACK RIGHT NEAR THE BALL. NOTHING TERRIBLE.  WE REALLY TRY TO BE ACCURATE IN DESCRIPTIONS.  THE STEM IS TIGHT. THIS MIRROR HAS A BLIND SPOT MIRROR ADDED TO IT ALONG THE WAY BUT CAN BE REMOVED IF UNWANTED.  ANYWAY, I RATE IT A 4+ ON A SCALE OF 1-5, WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY AND CONDITION.  VERY COOL WALL ART TOO! HARD TO FIND PART...   HONESTLY WE JUST DON'T FIND THESE.  AGAIN BID ONLY IF YOU KNOW IT IS RIGHT FOR YOUR APPLICATION!!!

I AM honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old parts have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend a lot for a part the best you can do are look for those in good shape which this is.  As with all of these older parts what you see in the pics is what comes with the part.  All hardware may or may not be complete.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 8000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

General Motors board recommends selling Opel to Magna-led group

General Motors Co.'s board has decided to support selling a majority stake in Opel to a group led by Canadian auto parts giant Magna. The move caps weeks of high-stakes maneuvering on both sides of the Atlantic that saw nationalism, labor issues and--perhaps most critical to GM, the use of its technology--all come into play. Magna and Russian lender Sberbank will get a 55 percent interest in Opel, the linchpin of GM's European operations for 80 years, as well as its British sister brand Vauxhall.

Bolt Gold Nissan GT-R sells for $187,100

The Bolt Gold Nissan GT-R, autographed by Olympic champion Usain Bolt, sold for $187,100 at an eBay auction. All proceeds will be donated to the Usain Bolt Foundation, which helps create educational and cultural opportunities for young people in Jamaica. More than 100 people competed for the other items crossing the block, including racing helmets, special driving suits and boots, which brought $6,091 more.

Zonda Cinque Roadster revealed

Pagani has released the final Zonda - the Zonda Cinque Roadster We already know how rigid the Zonda is from the Zonda F Roadster, so Pagani haven’t had to add half a ton of iron girders to the Cinque to compensate for chopping the top off. So you will still have a car that can deliver 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds from its 678bhp V12 Mercedes-sourced engine, and on up to almost 220mph. Just like the Coupe Cinque, only five Cinque Roadsters will be built (Cinque – Five – gettit?!) and each will set back their lucky owner €1.1 million + tax.
