1973 Moto Guzzi Front Drum Brake Police Version, Loop Models Borrani Rim on 2040-parts.com

This is the front rim pulled off a 1973 Police model Military Police bike (Eldorado) This drum should fit all loop frame models, Ambassadors, Eldorados from 1974 and below. Please note someone started drilling holes in the drum for cooling, but didn't finish. There are parts missing, like the axle nut, and other parts I'm not sure of. Because of this, the rim is being sold AS IS. The rim is made by Borrani in Italy, it is straight, the spokes were painted black and the rim a purple pearl color. I would imagine the aluminum and chrome would be clean underneath all this paint, but that's just me.

Thu, 09 Jan 2014Local creative and design talent from outside and inside the car industry will go head-to-head in a multi-round competition for the title of Sketchmaster in the Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment (MSBE). To be held at an underground afterparty for the Auto Show Charity Preview on 17 January at the Kunsthalle Museum in Detroit, the self-styled car design fight club will be attended by industry leaders, designers from Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota and Tier One suppliers. Car enthusiasts, artists and designers from around the globe will also be present.
