1973 Mustang, Cougar Tilt Steering Column With Rag Joint, on 2040-parts.com
Anniston, Alabama, United States
Up for sale is a tilt steering column for a 1973 Mustang and Cougar. Check out the pictures closely to see if this what you need. Includes a nicely detailed rag joint . The turn signal cam engages on both left and right sides. The column adjusts through it various positions easily. The lock cylinder appears to be original and turns easily. Comes with two keys. Black in color. The lock out rod bushing is intact. If I were to be critical of the piece, I would say the housing appears to be a bit out of round, with a small indention above the lock cylinder, and there are a few scratches on the underneath. The turn signal lever is original and chrome is peeling off and cosmetically needs to be replaced. This is a used piece and is sold as-is. I don't have a car to put it on, but would not hesitate to install it as it is. It will be boxed well, in a custom, thick cardboard box . Email with any questions before bidding. Don't assume anything. check your application. All sales are final, no returns.

GM returning to leasing with luxury vehicles
Thu, 30 Jul 2009General Motors will return to the leasing business focusing on luxury vehicles, but not on a broader basis, Vice Chairman Bob Lutz said. "We will get back into leasing, but we are not going to use massive subsidized leasing to drive volume because it's volume without profitability," Lutz said July 29 in an interview with Automotive News. "We'd rather sell less at higher profit than sell more at lower profit." Lutz said it still would make sense for GM to do more leasing on its luxury vehicles.
