Steel frame with glass shell 1973 Porsche 911 RSR ducktail. This authentic-appearing tail was professionally built using and original 1973 911 steel lid which was de-skinned so the new fiberglass reproduction outer skin could be installed. The outer skin was then glassed to the steel frame and many hours was spent making it look a real as possible. The center latch brace was properly reshaped and glassed to the inside of the tail like original. This tail was built for my Signal Yellow 1973 911 T Targa and was professionally painted with high-end single stage urethane about 6 months ago with no signs of shrinkage or defects. I have decided to run the stock flat lid. Beautiful slick color sanded and buffed finish. If your car is Signal Yellow, bolt on a go! Or, simply wet sand and repaint to match your colors - that is all you will need to do. This lid was fitted and gapped to my car so it will fit your 911 with no issues.
