YOU ARE NOW BIDDING ON: on a set of center dash small gauges for the 1974 1975 1976 1977 1978 Datsun 260z and 280z. These will fit the late 74 260z, not the early ones. These are the 3 small gauges in the center of the dash. The Temp / oil gauge, the Volts / Fuel gauge and the clock. They all work good and are ready to install and go. I included lots of pictures so you can see the exact condition.  Shipping the smaller,light parts is expensive because ebay requires me to ship with tracking number.

Regular eyetests should be 'mandatory' for all drivers

EYESIGHT tests for all drivers should be made compulsory and nine out of ten drivers (87%) of motorists in the UK support this idea. There are 2,900 road casualties each year in the UK caused by poor eyesight. Road safety charity Brake is asking the government to introduce mandatory eyesight tests for all drivers when they renew their driving licence every 10 years.

The Ford B-Max crossover, based on the Iosis Concept (pictured), will debut at Geneva 2011 The Ford Fusion arrived in 2002 as a stretched version of the Ford Fiesta – a mini MPV. And for a while it did pretty well in the sales charts, reaching a peak in 2007 as second only to Vauxhall’s Meriva. But its slide since then has been significant and last year it languished in fifth place with sales of 30,000.

RCA students redesign classic cars for Salon Privé

Eleven postgraduates from the Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design program have redesigned and modernized past Concours-winning cars for the ‘Concours of the Future' design exhibition at this year's Salon Privé in London. Concours of the Future, a first for the Salon Privé, will be showcased on 4 July before being judged the next day by a panel chaired by automotive designer and RCA visiting professor Peter Stevens. The judging panel is made up of Dale Harrow, head of the RCA Vehicle Design program and some of the biggest names in car design: Giles Taylor, director of design at Rolls-Royce; Peter Schreyer, chief design officer at Hyundai and Kia and Peter Horbury, vice president – design at Geely.
