FORD TRUCK VAN  HUBCAPS

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND.  THEY ARE THE ABS PLASTIC CENTER VERSIONS WITH METAL RINGS.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THESE TWO CAPS ARE IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM, SHOW CAPS.  THEY SUFFER FROM WEAR AND TEAR ASSOCIATED WITH THE TYPE OF MATERIAL THEY WERE MANUFACTURED WITH AND THE USE AND ABUSE OF TRUCKS/VANS BACK IN THE DAY.  SO LOOK AT THE PICTURES IN DETAIL PRIOR TO BIDDING.  THE CAPS HAVE SCRATCHES IN THE PLASTIC.  SOME DEEP RUBS, OTHERS NOT.  THERE IS OF COURSE PAINT FADE AND WEAR.  THE RINGS ALSO HAVE SOME NOTICEABLE DINGS AND SCRATCHES.  THAT SAID THEY ARE NOT BEAT TO DEATH AND STILL QUITE USEABLE INEXPENSIVE CAPS.    NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES IN DETAIL PRIOR TO BIDDING.

COOL EXAMPLE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE IT THEM A 3 MINUS.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS TOO.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 6000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (2008): first official pictures

Mon, 21 Apr 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 21 April 2008 10:47 Because the Porsche Cayenne Turbo isn’t fast enough for everyone, Porsche has just announced the new £89k Turbo S. (Take a deep breath - big numbers ahead...). That’s £15k more than the standard Turbo, the money going on exhaust and engine management tweaks to give the twin-turbo 4.8-litre V8 an excessive-sounding 542bhp.

New Lotus Elite: Top-Down +video

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

New Lotus Elite (2014) Top Down I think we’ve just about got over the surprise of a New Lotus Elite dropping from a clear blue sky in the week before the Paris Motor Show. What we still haven’t completely got our heads around is the plethora of models subsequently revealed at the show itself. Yes, we were expecting the new Lotus Esprit – even if we reckoned we might have got that wrong after the New Elite showed up – but we hadn’t reckoned on the new Elan, the new Eterne and the new Elise as well (never mind a City Car concept).
