Brit GP moves to Donington Park

It’s a return to the East Midlands circuit after 17 years, which last hosted the Grand Prix of Europe in 1993. To bring the circuit up to scratch for the Formula One crowd Donington Park has announced it will commence a 5-year, £100m investment programme.

Peugeot HR1 concept

Alongside the new 508, Peugeot unveiled a B-segment SUV concept called the HR1 in Paris. The new car builds on the new design identity established by the SR1 concept, but also features elements of the diminutive BB1 concept revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Toyota's incoming chairman wants new Supra

Toyota Motor Corp.'s incoming chairman said he wants the sports car the company is developing with BMW to be a midsized vehicle comparable to the discontinued Supra. Toyota's next sports car should be like the Supra so that it doesn't overlap with the 86 coupe, Takeshi Uchiyamada said in an interview today in Osaka at a gathering of members of the Keidanren, Japan's biggest business lobbying group. Still, such decisions are up to engineers, Uchiyamada said.
