The filler neck is pre-installed. The steel lock ring and gasket for installing the sending unit are included. To ensure maximum quality control, every single one of of our fuel tanks is pressure tested before leaving the factory.

This tank fits 1974 Chevy Impala, Caprice and Bel Air models, including all hardtops, convertibles, and sedans. It DOES NOT fit station wagon models.

When replacing your fuel tank, it is always best to install a new sending unit to ensure accurate fuel gauge readings. Our top quality stainless steel sending units also include a new strainer sock filter at the end of the fuel pickup tube that goes in the tank.
