First photo of the Jaguar XE Jaguar has revealed this morning that its new smaller Saloon will be the Jaguar XE, and that its new range of engines will be the Ingenium. Beyond that, we don’t get a lot more than we already know. Heading for an arrival in 2015, the Jaguar XE (we always doubted the commonly accepted Jaguar XS moniker) will be the first car in its segment to have an aluminium monocoque and, say Jaguar, is set to be the most advanced and efficient sports saloon in its sector and will be the first production Jaguar using the new aluminium architecture used for the Jaguar C-X17 SUV Concept.

The new, more Evoque-ative Range Rover was officially unveiled a little over a week ago. At the time, Land Rover only deigned to announce pricing for the United Kingdom. The magnificent Audi R8 V10 was officially launched at Detroit this week (although we brought you details on the R8 V10 over a month ago!), and it will cause some real problems for car manufacturers at this level – most noticeably Porsche. Which could be a problem, as Porsche owns Audi! Audi R8 V10 - Cheaper than we thought The R8 V10 seems something of a bargain at £99,575 OTR (or £104,665 for the R-Tronic), particularly if you compare cars with similar performance, such as the F430, which is nearly £40k more.
