Original FACTORY SERVICE MAINTENANCE
MANUAL
Good morning, today we have a 1974 OLDSMOBILE - OMEGA / CUTLASS / DELTA 88 / NINETY EIGHT 98 / VISTA CRUISER / TORONADO - ORIGINAL FACTORY SERVICE MAINTENANCE MANUAL up for auction.
The book is in a good used condition. The manual comes from a former GM dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains, and greasy finger prints on some pages
The book is large, and is approx 1 3/4 inches thick. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair of these type of vehicles.
This book is the rarer Canadian version. It seems that us Canuks must be dumber than our American counterparts, as the Canadian version of General Motors manuals are usually better illustrated and have a better description of the repair procedures than the US versions.
It cover the following chapters:
GENERAL INFORMATION LUBRICATION HEATING & VENTILATION AIR CONDITIONING AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR BUMPER SHEET METAL FRONT ALIGNMENT STEERING FRONT SUSPENSION WHEELS & TIRES PROPELLER SHAFT & U JOINTS REAR AXLE BRAKES ENGINE MECHANICAL ENGINE COOLING ENGINE EMISSION CONTROLS ENGINE EXHAUST AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MANUAL TRANSMISSION CLUTCH CHASSIS ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES Special Tools,
Even though this book is for a 1974 I am sure most information can be used for other year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.
These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work.
The book should pay for itself after only one use.
This book is a MUST HAVE if you are still driving one of these older model vehicles.
Unfortunately we are located in Canada, and delivery may take longer than if it was mailed from a US address - Delivery is usually 7 to 10 business days.
We have several similar manuals on auction this week and will gladly combine items for the lowest shipping cost.
Shipping & Payment
Shipping for this item is only $12.95 (USPS FLAT RATE BOX) for all areas of North America, except CANADA which is $17.80, with very secure packaging. This is the actual cost of postage from Canada to the USA since Canada Post raised their rates on Jan. 12
For payment we accept PAYPAL, .
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING
and
GOOD LUCK BIDDING

Toyota’s renegade Gazoo Racing are teasing another Toyota GT86 with 325bhp – the GRMN FR Sports Concept Platinum – for the Tokyo Auto Salon. There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding the Toyoya GT 86 (and the Subarua BRZ too) and the likelihood that it will get forced induction at some point to offer a chunk more power than its standard 197bhp. It’s always seemed likely that Toyota and Subaru would add a supercharger or turbo (or both) to their cars to give a properly powerful option.

Crossovers will take center stage for Buick in the 2013 model year. The compact Buick Encore crossover debuts in the first quarter as a 2013 model. Buick is hoping to get a jump on what looks to be a budding segment: luxury small crossovers.

Demonstrating the development of new concepts for Alfa Romeo and Ducati, the Automobile Museum of Turin, Italy, has been hosting an exhibition entitled 'Italian Sportivity: The New Generation'. The work was produced by Transport Design students from Turin's Institute of Applied Arts and Design (IAAD). Working with designers from both companies, IAAD students were given a pair of options to chose from: two wheels or four; Ducati or Alfa Romeo.
