Qoros to launch second model at 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Fri, 27 Dec 2013Qoros The second car to be built by the fledgling Qoros car maker will be revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Chinese firm announced today. These new pictures are the first sight of the new model, which will go on sale in China in 2014. Although only these two shadowy teaser images have been published, they appear to show a bigger family car, perhaps an SUV.

Thu, 27 Oct 2011Toyota FT-86 leaks out (click picture for full size) It’s no real surprise that the first photos of the Toyota FT-86 in production trim have leaked out from a printed brochure ahead of the official reveal at the Tokyo Motor Show next month. After all, printers have a lead time to get hard copy brochures printed and there’s nothing that leaks quite as much as a printer with a scoop on his desk. So we get treated to what appear to be the first proper pictures of Toyota’s FT-86 (for the Subaru BRZ just add Subaru badges in your head), and it looks quite bit more aggressive than we’d expected.

But now they’re having another crack at eco-cars with the BMW ActiveHybrid 5, a hybrid version of the latest 5-Series. The ActiveHybrid 5 gets a 302bhp twin-turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol – a good start – and throws in to the mix a 53bhp electric motor.
