Led Tail Lights (2) Here is a your chance to update your tail lights with the new led technology. It just couldn't get any easier! Remove your old lens and bulb, insert the socket and put the screws back in (you may need to replace your flasher with the led version). These tail lights have 25 super bright red led's. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. All the led's light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn. Add this bit of custom look today. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. They measure about 5" OD. The listing is for a pair. A customer has reported the original screws are too short. The plastic legs must be trimmed to match the original for 1979. IAM Launches Assessment To Help Older Drivers
Thu, 26 Jun 2014THE Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is launching its Mature Driver’s Assessment – a way for older drivers to gain a trusted second opinion on their driving - and is available for motorists aged over 70. It consists of a 60 minute driving assessment, including advice on what action to take after the assessment. With the IAM keen to stress that the evaluation is not a formal test, the 60-minute drive with an IAM-approved assessor allows candidates to drive in their own vehicle taking routes that they are familiar with.

Orphan Car Show highlights long-gone classics
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Marvelous as it is a setting for car shows, Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Mich., does present a risk: The park is built in the floodplain of the Huron River. When organizers showed up to stage this year's Orphan Car Show--the nation's largest to feature cars built by companies that no longer do business in America--on June 6, they found the judging stand underwater. An impromptu “show” throughout nearby Depot Town and at the host Miller Motors Hudson/Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum wasn't quite the same thing.
