Led Tail Lights (2) Here is a your chance to update your tail lights with the new led technology. It just couldn't get any easier! Remove your old lens and bulb, insert the socket and put the screws back in (you may need to replace your flasher with the led version). These tail lights have 25 super bright red led's. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. All the led's light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn. Add this bit of custom look today. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. They measure about 5" OD. The listing is for a pair. A customer has reported the original screws are too short. The plastic legs must be trimmed to match the original for 1979. BMW Group unveils in-car G-force and tea-drinking engine

BMW has revealed plans for a system called Force Injection Booster (FIB), which when activated fires artificial gravity at the driver and passenger through the air conditioning vents. But the style-conscious needn’t worry, because the German firm has also patented AirNet, the world’s first in-car hair protection technology.

At first glance, the C-X17 looks to have moved on from the original concept’s blue paint job – via the silver repaint for Dubai – to a half decent shade of gold to appeal to Chinese buyers. But the China C-X17 actually goes a bit further than that by taking the C-X17′s four-seat configuration and adding an extra shaped seat in the back for a proper five-seat layout. There’s also some added luxury in the form of wood veneer door panels.
BMW's new M engine needs a better voice
Thu, 26 Sep 2013BMW's M division claims its new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine is every bit as good -- if not better -- than the glorious, naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 powerplant it replaces in the new M3 sedan and M4 coupe. The figures are certainly impressive. They say it kicks out 424 hp and more than 25 percent extra torque, with what is described as significantly more than 369 lb-ft below 2,000 rpm.
